NJ near-drought conditions

The husks around the corn on Kurt Alstede’s farm in Chester are wilted at the top, a sure sign the crop has been under stress during the recent heat wave. And the peppers have begun to lose their bloom, making it less likely some of the plants will be pollinated and create fruit.
